The visit of Solidar Suisse to the beneficiaries of the ProSkills project

The visit of Solidar Suisse to the beneficiaries of the ProSkills project that is implemented by the Kosovo Youth Council (KYC) and the Training and Economic Development Institute in (TEDI)in the region of Peja. The visits have been realized in the secondary professional school “ Ali Hadri ” in Peja and the youth center “STAND HUB” in Peja where still were being held additional trainings for the 12th grade students of the “Tourism and Hotel “ direction from the school “Ali Hadri”.The purpose of the visit was to learn about the implementation of the subject Practical Work and Practical Training in the professional secondary education.
The “ProSkills” project has started to be implemented this year and aims to improve the approach to newly graduated youth employees of professional schools by benefiting from the labor market demands, practical work, and improved cooperation between the private sector and the education system. The ProSkills project aims at addressing two specific objectives;

1. The access and participation in trainings and practical work of the students of the professional schools on the required professional skills in the labor market,
2. The education system for the direction of Tourism, Information Technology, Metal and Wood Processing has significantly improved the development of the students’ skills based on the market demands,
