Meeting with the National Association of Autism in Kosovo

Pristina: Solidar Suisse team met with the team of the National Association for Autism in Kosovo, which initially informed about the situation on the ground and useful of service that the National Autism Association Kosovo provides for children with autism, and then discussed possibilities of developing additional services. Also, was discussed about the needs and plans for implementation of the SRS (Social Responsive Scale) to measure scientific manner the prevalence of autism, the potential cooperation opportunities with the Department of Psychology, the possibilities of establishing standardized processes to measure the progress of children who receive services from National Autism Association of Kosovo, and the needs and possibilities of adding any additional service as Occupational Therapy (Therapy of Profession) that people with autism can have a normal life. We appreciate the National Association for Autism for the work achieved so far, and will continue to support them in overcoming the challenges in the future.
