17 December: Signed the Memorandum of Collaboration between Association of Patient Rights in Kosovo and Solidar Suisse Kosovo. This event was also accompanied with support to Action for Mothers and Babies in realization of referral system for newborn transportation and support to Center for Women Health On occasion closure of the year with KOSANA partners was signed the Memorandum of Collaboration between Association of Patient Rights in Kosovo and Solidar Suisse Kosovo. In meeting were highlighted also the main achievements.

The prevalence of autism in Kosovo.
Assessment of human and institutional resources for the autism treatment in Kosovo.
Detailed measurement of group needs through their parents/ guardians of children with autism.
Decision-making process for delivery mode; a comparison of birth expenses as based on delivery mode; and costs and expenses during pregnancy and while preparing for the baby.
Assessing the routine care of screening methods and procedures prior to pregnancy as well as essential medicine, equipment, and ante-natal care for newborns and women.
What is the life expectancy for Roma, Ashkali, and Egyptian communities and its implications for policy? What are the incidence and prevalence of specific diseases as well as general health conditions that affect the Roma, Ashkali, and Egyptian communities in Kosovo? What increased or earlier access, potentially preventive or ameliorative services, would individuals in these communities use if these services were covered fully or significantly in the national health insurance scheme? What would be the cost to national health insurance of enabling increased use of services? What would be the cost savings for national health insurance of increased use of earlier treatment having preventive or ameliorative benefit?
Information of students on health insurance scheme and their interest in lobbying for their interests within health insurance scheme reform.
How many people are diagnosed with diabetes? How many cases are diagnosed with gestational diabetes (for e.g. annually)? How many people are diagnosed with type 1 and type 2 diabetes? How many people take insulin? How is current coverage of people with insulin?! How many are with oral therapy? How many people have complications? What type of complications?! Which is the list of needed services for diabetes? Which services are provided in the country? Which services are required abroad and why? Which services are problematic? Where are they provided (private/public)? What are the needs of patients/problems faced? What are daily problems? How the countries in the region have solved the services for the patients with diabetes?
The incidence of most common infectious diseases.
Payment mode for infectious diseases specialists and staff.
Analysis of currently provided services within the country and which services are provided abroad.
The incidence of diseases with high costs (where the costs are difficult to calculate).
Problems and practices for payment system for health professionals in other countries.
Information, stances and preferences of nursery professionals for payment options and other benefits within health care system.
Assessment of preferences of health care workers for issues related to health insurance scheme i.e. payment systems, other benefits)
Assessment of institutional capacities of public health institutions for implementation of requirements that come from health insurance implementation.
Assessment of indicators for implementation of health insurance law.
