On 25 March 2016: The Federation of Health Union in Kosovo with support of Solidar Suisse Kosovo have presented findings from research on “Increased remuneration for specialist physicians for reliable public healthcare in Kosovo”. The report outlines some key facts regarding the current situation and preferences for the future, as well as how changes in the status quo could be beneficial to the health care system of Kosovo. In the meeting participated the managers and leaders of family medicine centers and form regional hospitals. In meeting have been concluded the following recommendations:
Setting up working group for increasing level and manner of payment of health employees
Regulation of involvement into the both sectors
Regulation of private health sector
Systematization of health employees
Setting mechanisms of cooperation and involvement of decision makers
