On  the 2nd November together with Mrs. Drita Ferati- Director of the school IAAP “Mithat Frasheri” Gurrakoc-Istog, Mrs. Majlinda Rizvanolli, advisor to the Minister of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation, Mr. Naim Behlulaj- Director of the Directorate for Education and Culture in Istog, Mr. Driton Berisha- Executive Director of the Institute for Training and Economic Development-ITED and Mr. Arif Kadriu – Project Manager at Solidar Suisse Kosova, we had the pleasure of marking the inauguration of a new career center at the IAAP school ”Mithat Frasheri” Gurrakoc-Istog. This project is a result of a collaboration between MEST, the Municipality of Istog and Solidar Suisse Kosova.

This career center is a big step for the youth of Istog, as it will advise hundreds of students of this vocational school, facilitate the transition from school to the labor market, and gradually contribute to addressing the skills mismatch that is the biggest challenge for the labor market in Kosovo.

We were honored with their presence by the mayor of the municipality of Istog, Mr. Ilir Ferati, Mrs. Syzane Baja – Coordinator of the Solidar Suisse Program in Southeast Europe, directors of various professional schools in Peja and Klina, as well as representatives of civil society.
