Workshop on Strategic assessment on career guidance and counseling, opportunities and advantages

Within the project “Youth and Employability” in Peja region the workshop has been held in Peja with aim to discuss on Strategic assessment on career guidance and counseling, opportunities and advantages. Participants of workshop were teachers of primary education in Peja region and of vocational secondary education and representatives of business community and of civil society.

Mr. Ekrem Zogaj, the project leader of project Strategic assessment on career guidance and counseling, opportunities and advantages supported by SolidarSuisse Kosova for period November 2016-February 2017 highlighted that up to now have been completed the research work with 5 primary schools in Peja and 5 primary schools in rural area. The research has also involved vocational secondary schools in Peja region the one of technical and economic education . Part of research will be conducting interviews with parents to understand and assess better the knowledge on career orientation and education and opportunities to conduct in most convenient and sustainable way the service. By end of January 2017, will be presented the first findings of research career guidance and counseling, opportunities and advantages/

Last but not least , the project has for objective to promote career counseling opportunities, with coordinated engagement of all people involved and addressing the issues of development of career guidance in schools across the region
